Crispin Bokea is a financial economist and currently serves as an Executive Fellow at the Strathmore University Business School in the area of public policy, global economics and strategy.
Crispin has extensive knowledge and experience in financial sector issues, global economics, and expertise in strategic planning spanning more than 25 years. Crispin’s previous experience includes working as the Director Policy and Grant Management at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) in Bangkok (2009-2012), a Bill & Melinda Gates initiative on financial inclusion.
Prior to joining AFI, Crispin worked at the Central Bank of Kenya as an Assistant Director responsible for financial stability and access in the Research Department; and as the Head of Microfinance in Bank Supervision Department (2004-2009). Mr Bokea’s other experience includes working as the Head of Research and Strategic Planning at Kenya Airways (2000-2004); and as the Research manager at the International Center for Economic growth(1996-2000).
Daisy Saina – Komen is a highly skilled Senior Manager Regional Academies EA with proven ability to implement and manage all learning and development resources in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements to meet business and students needs across East Africa Region. Daisy holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Strategic Management from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Bachelor’s Degree in Communication (Public Relations) and a minor in Marketing from Daystar University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and two certificates of participation in Program for Management Development (PMD) and New Managers Development Program from Strathmore Business School.
Tecla is leadership and management faculty at Strathmore University Business School. She also serves as the course leader and lead-coach for the Executive Education, Healthcare. Tecla holds an MPH (Moi University) and she has recently completed her PhD in Health Systems Management (Leadership and Governance) at Strathmore University. Tecla has deep interest in training, evaluations designed to knowledge transfer from the classroom to real work environment. She has over nine years in training gaps assessment, designing and implementation of experiential training interventions. Her passion in coaching has enabled her to work with different organizational teams in the healthcare and corporate sector priorities and implement their institutional improvement projects. In her research work, Tecla engages participatory approaches and she has extensive experience in designing and implementing both randomized controlled and qualitative projects. She also provides customized training on collaborative leadership, community engaged research and qualitative research.
Stephen has underlying passion for the Education spanning over 15 years, gained with Universities of higher learning and international organizations. Some of Stephens attributes include;
Stephen has worked in 5 different countries and travelled for short term assignments to over 20 countries. Stephen has worked as Regional manager professional Skills for Sub Saharan Africa with British Council, International Coordinator with Geo Consult International, Strategic Manager with Greenwich University, and Regional Director with Limkokwing University among others. Stephen holds Master of Business Administration, Information Systems, and Diplomas in Information Technology, Graphics and Multimedia. Stephen has attended global conferences, attended to high stake short courses globally and undertaken a number of soft skills training in various aspects of organizations.
